Hi, my name is Grace, and I am so excited for the opportunity to serve my community with the Revive team. I was born and raised in the Randolph County area, and I have always loved helping my neighbors and loved ones. Nursing has given me the opportunity to care for people in some of their most vulnerable moments, and that is something I am incredibly grateful for.

I graduated from nursing school in 2021 and have since had the opportunity to work in several different nursing roles. I began my career in the Stepdown ICU at Carbondale Memorial Hospital, and I currently work at Chester Memorial Hospital, where I care for patients in the Emergency Room, ICU, and Medical-Surgical units.

When I first began working in the community where I grew up, I worried that knowing my patients personally might make it difficult to separate my emotions from my professional role or provide the best care possible. I quickly realized that the opposite was true. Having a familiar, friendly face beside you when you are at one of your lowest points—physically or emotionally—can provide a tremendous sense of comfort. Being able to offer that comfort to my patients is one of the things that makes nursing so meaningful to me.

I also believe strongly in holistic care. I believe that daily movement, nourishing our bodies with whole foods, and supporting our health with supplements when needed is essential in achieving a good quality of life. I love being a nurse, but outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors hunting and hiking, making homemade suppers for my husband and me, and anything involving plants.
